"Pic'n strawberries makes me feel like a MAN!"

This is how they start out, isn't it amazing how they end up!!

So I finally joined all the "good mothers" and took my kids to pic strawberries at the patch.
It was fun watching Ezra search for each little treasure. Then pretty much squish each one as he picked it with the heavy hand of a three year old. After a while he began to learn how to be gentle. He actually ended up with a couple pounds of edible strawberries. The funny part is when we got home I set the bag of fresh hand picked goodies on our front steps while we played outside for a few minutes and our precocious cat, Storm, made a bed for himself on the bag and squished almost every one. So I froze em' for smoothies, not a total loss.

Its amazing how getting your child involved in the process changes their opinion. before this day he said "I don't like strawberries."

At the end of our strawberry adventure he said happily " Pic'n strawberries makes me feel like a man!" Oh Ezra!! I love my little man!!!

We had a good time with Aunt Niki, Whickey, & Buffy!

I LOVE your blog. It is so fun to beable to read and catch up on what you guys are up to. I need to get working on mine again.

Ezra...you are on cute "man" with you little hat and strawberry bucket. It looks like you guys had a great time picking strawberries. I always have to talk myself into getting all the kids packed up, out the door, in the van and on our way. However, once we do, we have a great time!!!

I cannot believe Jaida is already one. That is CRAZY. She looks just like your family and all your baby pictures. She is one cutie!!!! I love the little swim suits. I havn't gotten one for Eden yet simply becauce I am not sure we are even going to get summer this year:) I just sent Judah to school today with a sweatshirt and a hoodie because it is so cold.

Anyway, you all are in our thoughts and prayers quite often (I am not just saying that). Whenever I get the urge to play panio I think of you and say a prayer for you music and your ministry.

Love ya and hope you have a great day!!
